The CDA is a local government agency administering over 30 programs and managing over 2,200 units of affordable workforce and senior housing serving the communities and residents of Dakota County.

If you're in the market for your first home this year, the Dakota County First Time Homebuyer Program offers a financial resource to make your purchase successful. With an initial interest rate of 4.25% and downpayment assistance of up to $10,000 available, the program has funding to provide loans to over 240 homebuyers.

Is your home drafty? Energy bills high?
Income eligible Dakota County residents can qualify for grants through the Weatherization Assistance Program to make improvements to their homes. The goal of the program is to reduce energy costs through making homes and mechanical systems more energy efficient. Applications can be requested by calling (651) 322-3500.
